Interpreter Scheduler Job Opening

House of Languages is seeking to hire an Interpreter Scheduler.

Day-to-day job consists of:

  • Receiving interpreter service requests from customers online, over the phone, via email and fax, and scheduling interpreters
  • Maintaining information in an online interpreter schedule
  • Making appointment reminder calls to consumers of interpreter services

Additional responsibilities may include but are not limited to assistance with document translation projects and general office duties.

An ideal candidate would be an extremely detail oriented, hard working, responsible person who is able to multitask and prioritize, work independently and under pressure in a fast passed environment, have excellent customer service skills, have cross-cultural communication experience, and would consider herself (or himself) smart, creative, positive and patient. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Ability to keep all customer and business information confidential is essential. Foreign language proficiency is a plus.

This is a part-time (30 hours a week) with a potential of becoming a full time position.
